Mr. Leyton brings more than 30 years of legal experience to NRG, having practiced as corporate counsel to numerous New York Stock Exchange companies, and as a partner in several law firms, both in New York City and in Phoenix.
For the past 17 years, Mr. Leyton has concentrated his practice solely in the area of family law, during which time he
served as a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Pro Tem, and as partner in two Scottsdale corporate law firms. Mr. Leyton is experienced in all areas of family law representing clients in numerous trials and mediations, and excels in advising clients in complex divorce matters and cases involving marital businesses, including the preparation of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements. Additionally, Mr. Leyton is a certificated mediator and has served as a Judge Pro Tempore of the Superior Court for the State of Arizona in Maricopa County. One of Mr. Leyton's greatest strength's is his ability to analyze a complex matter with ease. He is also well-respected for his candor and practical advice that he regularly renders to his clients and colleagues.
Mr. Leyton, in addition to being admitted to practice law in Arizona, also maintains his New York and Connecticut bar admissions, and is licensed to practice law in the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Leyton graduated from Brooklyn Law School with honors, and is a member of the Family Law Section of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Mr. Leyton acquired his Bachelor's Degree in sociology and political science from Queens College of the City University of New York, where he graduated with honors.
